【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistanceofplasticstobreakagebyflexuralshock,asindicatedbytheenergyextractedfromstandardizedpendulum-typehammers,mountedinstandardizedmachines,inbreakingstandardspecimenswithonependulumswing.Theresultofthistestmethodisreportedasenergyabsorbedperunitofspecimenwidth.Note1Thependulum-typetestinstrumentshavebeenstandardizedinthattheymustcomplywithcertainrequirements,includingafixedheightofhammerfallthatresultsinasubstantiallyfixedvelocityofthehammeratthemomentofimpact.Pendulumsofdifferentinitialenergies(producedbyvaryingtheireffectiveweights)arerecommendedforusewithspecimensofdifferentimpactstrengths.Moreover,manufacturersoftheequipmentarepermittedtousedifferentlengthsandconstructionsofpendulums(withresultingpossibledifferencesinpendulumrigidities(seeSection),andotherdifferencesinmachinedesign).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2ThisstandardandISO180,Method1U,aresimilarincontentbutarenottechnicallyequivalent.
