【摘要】:ThemodelsdefinedinthisRecommendation|InternationalStandardprovideaconceptualandterminologicalframeworkfortheotherITU-TX.500-seriesRecommendations|partsofISO/IEC9594whichdefinevariousaspectsoftheDirectory.ThefunctionalandadministrativeauthoritymodelsdefinewaysinwhichtheDirectorycanbedistributed,bothfunctionallyandadministratively.GenericDSAandDSAinformationmodelsandanOperationalFrameworkarealsoprovidedtosupportDirectorydistribution.ThegenericDirectoryInformationModelsdescribethelogicalstructureoftheDIBfromtheperspectiveofDirectoryandAdministrativeUsers.Inthesemodels,thefactthattheDirectoryisdistributed,ratherthancentralized,isnotvisible.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardprovidesaspecializationofthegenericDirectoryInformationModelstosupportDirectorySchemaadministration.TheotherITU-TRecommendationsintheX.500series|partsofISO/IEC9594makeuseoftheconceptsdefinedinthisRecommendation|InternationalStandardtodefinespecializationsofthegenericinformationandDSAmodelstoprovidespecificinformation,DSAandoperationalmodelssupportingparticulardirectorycapabilities(e.g.Replication):a)theserviceprovidedbytheDirectoryisdescribed(inITU-TRec.X.511|ISO/IEC9594-3)intermsoftheconceptsoftheinformationframework:thisallowstheserviceprovidedtobesomewhatindependentofthephysicaldistributionoftheDIB;b)thedistributedoperationoftheDirectoryisspecified(inITU-TRec.X.518|ISO/IEC9594-4)soastoprovidethatservice,andthereforemaintainthatlogicalinformationstructure,giventhattheDIBisinfacthighlydistributed;c)replicationcapabilitiesofferedbythecomponentpartsoftheDirectorytoimproveoverallDirectoryperformancearespecified(inITU-TRec.X.525|ISO/IEC9594-9).Thesecuritymodelestablishesaframeworkforthespecificationofaccesscontrolmechanisms.ItprovidesamechanismforidentifyingtheaccesscontrolschemeineffectinaparticularportionoftheDIT,anditdefinesthreeflexible,specificaccesscontrolschemeswhicharesuitableforawidevarietyofapplicationsandstylesofuse.Thesecuritymodelalsoprovidesaframeworkforprotectingtheconfidentialityandintegrityofdirectoryoperationsusingmechanismssuchasencryptionanddigitalsignatures.ThismakesuseoftheframeworkforauthenticationdefinedinITU-TRec.X.509|ISO/IEC9594-8aswellasgenericupperlayerssecuritytoolsdefinedinITU-TRec.X.830|ISO/IEC11586-1.DSAmodelsestablishaframeworkforthespecificationoftheoperationofthecomponentsoftheDirectory.Specifically:a)theDirectoryfunctionalmodeldescribeshowtheDirectoryismanifestedasasetofoneormorecomponents,eachbeingaDSA;b)theDirectorydistributionmodeldescribestheprincipalsaccordingtowhichtheDIBentriesandentry-copiesmaybedistributedamongDSAs;c)theDSAinformationmodeldescribesthestructureoftheDirectoryuserandoperationalinformationheldinaDSA;d)theDSAoperationalframeworkdescribesthemeansbywhichthedefinitionofspecificformsofcooperationbetweenDSAstoachieveparticularobjectives(e.g.shadowing)isstructured.
